- Rates are based on the weekly pick-up limit of five 30-gallon bags. (ten 13-gal.)

- Bags should be 35lbs or less. PLEASE NO CONTRACTOR BAGS.

- No sharing of bins. Bins must not contain loose garbage. All garbage should be bagged.

- Payment is due in full upon receipt of bill.

- Payments received after the due date on the invoice will be assessed as a 10% late fee
each month.

- After 2 delinquent bills, service will be disconnected and there will be a $20
reconnection fee.

- We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Credit card payments should be made online
through our merchant provider, Freedom Merchants. There is a processing fee for
credit card use. Automatic electronic payments can be made through your bank.

- Garbage will be collected on all holidays except Christmas. Refer to our website
www.avsanitation.com or to your trash bill for the make-up date for Christmas.

- Our office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

- Garbage should be set out the night before your scheduled collection date. Drivers
cannot return if your garbage is not set out on time.

- In the event of inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, if Apple Valley Sanitation
is unable to safely pick up your garbage on regular collection day, we will return the
following week on normal collection date. We will get all garbage for each week missed.
(This will also include any utility workers/trucks blocking our way to reach your
residence.)

- Decals must be placed where our drivers can see them. Do not place decals on your
mailbox.

​- Garbage should be placed in an appropriate container no more than 5 feet from the
roadway. We are unable to drive/walk up private driveways.

- Paint must be solidified with dirt, cat litter, or sand before it can be disposed of.

- Bulky items may be brought to our transfer station. Disposal at the transfer station is
not included in your monthly service.

- Broken glass or other sharp objects should be placed in a cardboard box and taped
closed. Please label box accordingly. (NEEDLES SHOULD BE PLACED INTO SHARPS
CONTAINER AND SEALED, NO EXCEPTIONS!)
